Banks

The Bank. Simulates a gradual rise of terrain. This is another basic component that is essential in ramp design. Adding banks together in different combinations creates pyramids, funboxes, and loading docks.

Roll-in Bank. Usually used as a starting area, this ramp is great for kids who want to go down a ramp but maybe aren't at the 'drop-in' level of starting on a quarterpipe yet. One of the easiest ramps to learn and ride on. Essential in a little kids' area.

Roll-In Bank
Wall Ride, Quarterpipe, and Roll-In

The Roll-In. A step up from the roll-in bank, this ramp transitions the bottom and top seamlessly with no flat banked area in-between.

Bank to Bank. This ramp is basically a bank with a steeper bank on top of it. It simulates something you might find out on the streets if you look hard enough. Some uses are for doing lip tricks on the top (like a 'blunt-to fakie') or a 'kickflip' from low bank to high bank. (or anything else a skater might think of!)

Bank to Ledge. Street skaters seem to love the ledge. Here is a ledge on top of a bank ramp. Ollie off the bank and grind or slide the ledge.
