City Funded Skate Parks

Project Skate
Rice Lake Public Skatepark

Rice Lake has had a public skatepark for about 15 years now, and they realised that they needed an update. Through the hard work of the skaters themselves, they were able to fundraise enough money to pour a new concrete pad and donations are paying for the new skatepark. They plan on adding more to the skatepark as funding becomes available, and now the skaters themselves can claim proud ownership over their very own 'Project Skate.'

Close to Madison, WI, Waunakee's first stage of their
new skatepark is complete. A 24' wide Mini Ramp with extensions and a simple Street Course set-up including a ledge, pad, and rail is a good start.
